What to Expect

Your First Visit (New Patient Exam)

At the first visit to the orthodontist, diagnostic records are prescribed to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a dental history, clinical examination, plaster study models of the teeth,  facial photos and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient.

New Patients: please download and complete the appropriate forms before your first visit.

Consultation

After the doctor has evaluated your records, we discuss your diagnosis and treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.

Regular Appointments

Your first appointment to your get your braces usually takes from thirty to sixty minutes. You'll then see us at regular intervals every 4 to 6 weeks for an adjustment, which takes twenty to forty-five minutes.  If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.

The Cost of your Treatment

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.

Insurance
If you have orthodontic insurance we will a help to determine the amount of your coverage and assist with filing your claim. We will be happy to answer any insurance questions on your behalf.
